In our latest Hayley Foster update, we’re excited to introduce some movesets that add strategic depth and tactical nuance to your gameplay. Use each skill wisely to counter enemy attacks or simply unleash Ninja Steel fury! 


HOW WHITE STEEL SLASH (STRIKE) WORKS

  • Two-Hit Combo:
    • First Hit: Disrupt an opponent’s attack
    • Second Hit: Sweeping attack
      • Dash Cancel is allowed on startup and after the 1st hit
      • Dash Canceling grants +1 EP
  • Strategic Considerations:
    • Activating White Steel Slash during Dash Cancel grants
    • White Steel Slash v2 = only has the 2nd hit and causes a Launch instead of a Sweep with increased damage

MASTERING THE ARROW BLAST (BLOCK / DISRUPTOR)

  • Dashing immediately after startup allows a follow-up while moving in the direction of the dash
  • The total damage displayed in HUB represents the combined damage of both arrows landing

HOW VANISHING EARTH (STRIKE) WORKS

  • Triggering the move: This forward traveling ability is triggered by proximity to the enemy
  • Timing is Key: The fastest it can come up and attack is 33 frames
    • The latest is 57 from full-screen
  • Dodging the Danger: It is possible to dodge back while she is on her way up granted there is space behind to move out of the way
  • Invulnerability: She is granted invulnerability while she is underground up to her first hit as she comes up

HOW TO USE POSSESSED FLAMES (BREAKER)

  • Startup: The startup has a total of 60 frames but can transition into 2 different moves at frame 20 by inputting:
    • Dashing forward transition a triple mid-range projectile
      • Each projectile can cause a fire dot and can be dodged
      • Quickest startup can be as fast as 35 frames
    • Dashing backward transitions into a pillar of flame
      • This is NOT a projectile and cannot be dodged by dashing
      • This is, however, slower at a 50-frame fastest startup
    • If no input is placed at the startup it automatically transitions to the forward version
      • This will be a total of 75 frames

HOW TO MASTER THE NINJA SPIN FINAL ATTACK (BREAKER)

  • This is a Super ability with a Breaker-clash type
    • Super meter is gained by taking and dealing damage at a rapid rate
    • This ability cost 0 EP
    • Damage is relative to a normal ability and has mid-range
  • Like any Breaker, it will lose to any Strike
