It’s been a while since our last patch notes—thank you for your patience! Over the past few months, the team has been focused on polishing new character releases (Kimberly, Chase, and Troy) while also tracking down some long-standing combat issues behind the scenes. This update is a bit of a catch-up, addressing a range of global fixes and character-specific adjustments to smooth out gameplay and improve consistency.
Looking ahead, we’re preparing a balance update in September 2025 that will dive deeper into tuning characters and refining match flow. We’ll also be sharing more details about upcoming content soon—so keep an eye out!
GLOBAL
HIT REACTION – INTERRUPT
- Fixed a bug that caused opponent to lift up when getting hit with an Interrupt while standing on the ground.
HIT REACTION – SWEEP
- Standardized the height and speed of all characters receiving Sweep.
HIT REACTION – KNOCKDOWN
- Standardized the height and speed of all characters receiving Knockdown.
TRANSITION TO BOUNCE
- Standardized the height and speed of all characters when transitioning to Bounce.
- Removed frame disadvantage to all characters such as Female Rangers and Villains due to iregular bounce heights.
- Removed transition hitch from falling from a great height.
ATTACKS WITH HIT STOP
- Fixed attacks with long hit stops that caused attacking player to have severe frame disadvantage and prevented further follow ups.
CLASH INTERACTIONS
- Fixed an issue where the clash interaction would unintentionally push the victim around.

- Increased attack speed to prevent dropped combos during juggles and easier follow ups.

- Changed hit reaction against a standing opponent during the electric hits from Interrupt to Flinch.
- Prevents victims from activating Block when hit with the 1st attack but allows the opponent to do any action if the 1st attack misses.
